Access to the home is all from blacktop roads leading to this quiet cul-du-sac. The land is very level with a large front yard surrounded by mature pines and hardwoods. Elevation to the water is low! The home itself was built in 1998 and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is a two story home with a partially finished basement. Upstairs the kitchen is very spacious and open with solid hardwood cabinets, skylights, and plenty of countertop space. The living room features a large block fireplace, vaulted wood ceiling, and oversized French doors that view the water and open onto the large deck. The master bedroom has a great view of the water, and a large master bath featuring a corner Jacuzzi. Downstairs is a large pine sided family room and one of the spare bedrooms. Everything in this home is very modern and it definitely has the "Up North Feel". The land is private, and has several parking options including an oversized two car attached garage. Close to the lake we have a fire ring that overlooks the water and the dock. Amenities : Several public boat launches are nearby, and many places in town and around the lake rent boats/pontoons. This area has many resorts, lodges, restaurants, and parks. The home has all modern appliances including first floor washer and dryer. Chetek Chain of Lakes : Chetek is arguably one of Wisconsin's most popular vacation destinations, with the main attraction being the Chetek Chain of Lakes - Chetek, Prairie, Pokegama, Ojaski, Ten Mile, and Moose Ear Lake. These fertile lakes have been noted for their abundant supply of pan fish and excellent catches of northern pike and bass. Other catches include walleye, bluegill, black crappie, perch, rock bass, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass. You can stand at any point on these lakes and see wooded shoreline that is home to rustic lodges, fishing cabins, vacationers and residents alike. All total there is over 120 miles of shoreline spotted with islands and quiet bays. Rates : May - September $1400 per week.
